Recouture wants to contribute to less overconsumption and celebrate the rich heritage of Norwegian culture. We redesign pre-loved garments into unique one-of-a-kind pieces, tailored just for you. We offer pre-loved garments for purchase and we provide the service of redesigning your own wardrobe items.

We use a variety of traditional Norwegian patterned woven carpets, handmade in the 1900s. The patterns originated from different areas, all with different weaving techniques. Check weave, tablebragd, rose pattern, hook weave, half turn, split weave, and double weave. Our final pieces reflect the beauty and history of Norwegian culture.
