On Lindmo talkshow, Recouture had the privilege of "dressing-up" Kristin's Aclima shirt, complemented by high heels, while blending her personal identity with the rich colors and patterns of a traditional Norwegian woven carpet
A big shout out to Aclima for their innovative approach with this shirt and their REBORN concept—breathing new life into old scraps, by turning their own waste into new garments.
The colors are sorted on the scraps to avoid the need for re-dyeing the recycled wool. This way, they save energy, water, and the use of chemicals.
To complement the Kristin collection, Aclima provided us with pattern pieces from the reborn shirt to craft a few more artistic Åkle shirts.
